CLEAN BUILDING RETROFITS
Low noise, low vibration & NO DUST! System retrofits can be completed in small spaces with low overhead clearance, while minimizing risk of damaging surrounding buildings or structures.
INNOVATIVE DRILLING TECHNOLOGY
Utilizing the proprietary Wassara Water Down-the-hole (WDTH) drilling technology, boreholes are capable of being drilled at inclined angles. This allows for arrays of bores to be drilled in a smaller surface area and allow contact with an overall greater thermal mass.
BOREHOLE THERMAL ENERGY STORAGE (BTES)
BTES systems are geothermal loop systems which are capable of being operated to extract or reject excess heat to a borefield. Urban Geo utilizes the borefield energy thermal storage to pre-charge heating and cooling to optimize system performance.

Ground source geothermal offers a quantum leap forward in system efficiency, delivering lower energy and overall life cycle costs. The ability to "pre- heat" or "pre-cool" the system from the earth's 55 degree ambient dramatically reduces system demand from conditioning peak outside air temperatures.
Hybrid ground source geothermal systems can also be configured to provide efficient cooling while storing condenser heat in the earth. Peak cooling condenser heat can be utilized to pre-charge thermal mass for seasonal heating demand.
Geothermal provides superior energy efficiency compared to air source heat pump solutions. The compared to air source heat pump solutions. The attached chart from an ASHRAE HQ study provides a clear energy performance comparison between geothermal and VRF. In addition, VRF systems have environmental risks associated with accidental releases of refrigerants, which have some of the highest Global Warming Potential (GWP) values.
GEOTHERMAL AS A SERVICE
Brightcore provides the intellectual capital to design and build the geothermal ground loop with our mechanical and drilling partners.
Brightcore also can provide the financial capital to fund 100% of the upfront costs of the geothermal ground loop.
The Developer/Building owner signs a 30 year “PPA” style contract with Brightcore to access the geothermal ground loop for its HVAC system in exchange for a monthly payment.
As part of the contract, Brightcore monitors and maintains the geothermal ground loop for the term.
